Gutter Replacement Questions
Do overflowing gutters always need replacement?
No. A blockage, gutter slope or downspout problem can also cause overflow. Worn seams, sagging runs or an unsuitable size are other concerns. Describe where and when the water spills over so the cause can be evaluated.
How do I choose between five-inch and six-inch gutters?
The roof area feeding each gutter run, roof pitch and downspout layout help determine the size. The larger profile has more capacity, but sizing should be considered with the whole drainage layout.
Are the downspouts part of the replacement?
